Organise Your Money Situation, One Clear Step at a Time
We run structured educational sessions for individuals and small businesses. We do not recommend products, manage funds, or offer regulated financial advice — our role is to help you chart your own route.
Our Sessions
Each engagement is structured like a berth on a harbour chart — a defined space, a clear purpose, and a route out.
Bearing Session
A 60-minute one-to-one conversation for individuals who want an organised picture of their money situation before making decisions. We help you list income, commitments, and goals on a one-page chart, clarify terms in bank or loan documents, and draft a question list for your bank or licensed adviser.
- One-page money chart as PDF
- Neutral resource list included
- Online or in-person (KL office)
Business Process Review
A full-day operational consulting engagement for SMEs wanting cleaner internal money processes. We document your invoice-to-payment cycle, set spending approval steps, help choose bookkeeping software, and design a monthly close routine with simple owner dashboards.
- Written process map & checklist templates
- 45-minute follow-up call after 4 weeks
- Workflow & tooling focus only
Household Charting Programme
A structured three-month programme for families wanting calm, ongoing support in organising household finances. Six fortnightly 60-minute sessions covering budgeting, tracking, planning for known future costs, understanding statements, and preparing for bank conversations.
- All templates & shared family planner
- Email Q&A between sessions
- Online or at KL office
Why Clients Come to Bijak Compass
We serve as harbour pilots — we help you understand the waters, not sail your vessel for you.
Structured, not vague
Every session follows a clear three-stage method. You know what you will produce before you arrive.
No product sales
We do not earn commission. No loans, policies, or investment products are recommended or sold here.
Your pace, your decisions
Sessions are calm and conversational. You choose what to share and what to act on.
Tangible documents
You leave with a completed chart, process map, or summary — something you can bring to your bank.
Transparent referrals
When you need a licensed professional, we say so clearly and point you toward public agencies or regulated advisers.
Kuala Lumpur & online
Meet us at Level 8, Maju Junction Mall or join remotely. Both options carry the same structured approach.
Not sure which session fits your situation?
Send us a short note about what you would like to understand better. We will suggest the most suitable starting point — with no pressure to proceed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about what we do — and what we do not do.
Are these sessions a substitute for speaking with a bank or licensed financial planner?
No. Our sessions are educational and organisational. We help you understand your own documents, list your figures clearly, and draft questions — so that when you do speak with your bank or a licensed adviser, you arrive prepared. We do not replace regulated advice.
Do you recommend specific loans, savings products, or investment accounts?
We do not. No product recommendations are made in any session. We can explain how different product types generally work, but we will always direct you to a licensed professional or your own bank for specific recommendations.
How does the Bearing Session differ from the Household Charting Programme?
The Bearing Session is a single 60-minute meeting — useful when you want a quick, organised overview before a decision. The Household Charting Programme is a three-month commitment with six fortnightly sessions, ongoing email support, and templates built up over time. It suits families who want to build lasting habits, not just a one-time snapshot.
Can a small business owner attend the Bearing Session, or is it only for individuals?
The Bearing Session is designed for individuals and their personal finances. Business owners who want to review their company's internal money processes would be better served by the Business Process Review, which is structured specifically around SME workflows.
How are my details kept private?
Any figures or documents you share during a session are used solely to complete that session. We do not store personal financial data after the session ends. Our full approach is described in our Privacy Policy.
How do I prepare for a session?
For the Bearing Session, we recommend bringing recent bank statements, a rough list of monthly commitments, and any loan or product documents you want explained. For the Business Process Review, a list of your current tools and a rough description of your invoice and payment steps is helpful. We send a short preparation note after booking.
Are sessions available in Bahasa Malaysia?
Yes. Sessions can be conducted in English or Bahasa Malaysia depending on your preference. Please mention your preferred language when booking and we will assign an appropriately matched facilitator.
