Three Structured Sessions — Each with a Clear Scope and a Defined Output
Choose the session that matches your situation. All three follow the same Sound–Plot–Sail method and produce a portable document you can use elsewhere.
Back to HomeHow Every Session Is Structured
The Sound–Plot–Sail framework applies to all three sessions, though the depth and scope varies by engagement type.
Sound
The facilitator listens without leading. You describe your situation, your documents, and what you want to understand better. No assumptions are made in advance.
Plot
Together, you and the facilitator organise your figures, goals, or process steps onto a clear single-page structure. This becomes your session document.
Sail
You leave with the completed document, a list of next steps, and — where relevant — a set of questions prepared for your bank or a licensed professional.
Bearing Session
RM 460
A single 60-minute conversation for individuals who want an organised overview of their money situation before making any decisions. The facilitator helps you list income, commitments, savings, and goals on a one-page chart, explains general terms found in bank and loan documents, and helps you draft a list of questions to bring to a bank or licensed adviser.
- Completed one-page money chart as PDF
- Neutral resource list — no product links
- Question list prepared for bank or adviser
- Available online or in-person at Maju Junction Mall, KL
- English or Bahasa Malaysia delivery
How the session runs
Booking confirmed. You receive a short preparation note listing what to bring — recent bank statements, a loan document you want explained, or simply your current monthly figures.
Sound stage (first 20 minutes). The facilitator listens to your situation without prompts or assumptions. You share what you are comfortable sharing.
Plot stage (main 30 minutes). Together you fill in the one-page chart — income, commitments, goals, and open questions. Terms in any documents you have brought are explained in plain language.
Sail stage (final 10 minutes). You agree on a short action list. A question list for your bank or adviser is prepared if needed. The PDF chart is sent within 24 hours.

Business Process Review
RM 1,850
A full-day operational consulting engagement for small and medium enterprises wanting cleaner internal money processes. We cover the invoice-to-payment cycle, spending approval steps, bookkeeping software selection, a monthly close routine, and simple owner dashboards. The focus is on workflow, roles, and tooling — not tax, financing, or investment.
- Written process map of your current invoice-to-payment flow
- Spending approval framework and checklist templates
- Bookkeeping software shortlist with feature comparison
- Monthly close routine document
- 45-minute follow-up call four weeks after the engagement
How the engagement runs
Pre-engagement briefing. You complete a short questionnaire about your current tools, team size, and rough description of your invoice and payment flow.
Sound stage (morning). The consultant walks through your current process, asking questions at each step to understand what is documented versus what is held in people's heads.
Plot stage (afternoon). A process map is drafted together, approval steps are agreed, and a monthly close routine is built around your business's existing rhythm.
Sail stage (closing). Written outputs are confirmed, software shortlist discussed. A 45-minute follow-up call is scheduled for four weeks later to review implementation.
Household Charting Programme
RM 4,300
A three-month structured programme for families who want calm, ongoing support in organising household finances. Six fortnightly 60-minute sessions cover budgeting, tracking, planning for known future costs, understanding bank statements, and preparing for conversations with banks or licensed professionals.
- Six fortnightly 60-minute sessions over three months
- All templates and shared family planner file
- Short practice tasks between sessions
- Email Q&A between sessions (2-business-day response)
- Closing summary document at programme end
- Online or at KL office — both options available
Programme session sequence
Session 1 — Household Baseline. Income, fixed commitments, variable spending, and current savings are listed on the household chart.
Session 2 — Budget Categories. Spending is organised into categories. A tracking template is introduced and customised for the household.
Session 3 — Reviewing the First Month. Tracking results are reviewed. Adjustments are made and patterns identified.
Session 4 — Planning for Known Costs. Upcoming expenses (school fees, holidays, vehicle service) are mapped into the planner.
Session 5 — Understanding Statements. Bank statements, loan schedules, and EPF summaries are reviewed in plain language.
Session 6 — Sail & Close. Progress is reviewed, a closing summary document is produced, and next steps are agreed — including when to consult a licensed professional.
Best suited for
- — Families who tried budgeting before but found it hard to sustain without support
- — Households with two incomes who want a shared, organised picture
- — Anyone preparing for a significant household financial change — new child, property purchase discussion, or income change
